Raquel McCranie is a passionate bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor dedicated to helping individuals create healthier and more balanced lives.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in General Psychology with a minor in Communications before completing her Master's Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at the University of South Florida.
Raquel's clinical background includes work in behavioral health, addiction recovery, individual counseling, and relationship support. She integrates evidence-based modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, and Gottman-informed approaches into her practice.
As someone raised within multiple cultures and now part of a multicultural blended family herself, Raquel understands the emotional complexity that often accompanies relationships, transitions, parenting, identity, and adjustment. This lived experience deepens her empathy and informs her work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Her goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change — one step at a time.
